What materials are used in making a Vitae London watch?

Are Vitae London watches water resistant?

The materials we use allows a water resistance of up to 10ATM

What does 5atm mean?

ATM or “atmospheres” is the amount of pressure a watch can withstand before leaking. A 5ATM watch will withstand pressures equivalent to depth of 50 meters, or 165ft under water. It is important to note that this is a measure of pressure NOT depth.

5ATM is suitable for rain, splashing and showering but not diving, snorkelling or water sports.

How to clean my strap?

If you want to clean your leather wristband, we advise you go to your local watchmaker who may have cleaning products specifically made for leather. If you wish to clean your strap yourself we would recommend you consult a watch maker to be sure that you do it correctly without compromising the integrity of leather.

Will the strap fit my wrist?

Our straps are adjustable and designed to fit most wrist sizes. Use the adjustment holes to match your comfort.

How do I place an order?

We want to make the process of ordering from the website as simple as possible.

The steps are:

  • Choose an item you wish to purchase and add it to your shopping cart

  • At the top of the page you will find your shopping cart total and from there you can view or proceed to checkout

  • Once at the checkout Insert your personal information then make a payment for the order

Can I change my order?

If you would like to change an order before it has been shipped please get in touch with customer service via support@vitaelondon.info . We aim to deal with your enquiry within 3 working days.

Payment

What are the ways to Pay?

You have the option of paying via Paypal, Credit Card or Debit Card. Vitae do not handle any credit card information.

Delivery Information

Does Vitae London ship internationally?

Yes we do. All items are dispatched all over the world from our London (England) headquarters.

How long does your online delivery take?

Shipping within the UK has a 3-5 working day arrival time from the day after purchase and international shipping has a 5-10 working day time frame. If your watch does not arrive within the stated time please contact customer service team support@vitaelondon.info

Returns

Return instructions

Every customer is entitled to change their mind and return a watch for an exchange or full refund within 14 days providing the watch is in the exact packaging as it was received. Make sure the plastic is still on the watch face and base. Leather watches should be securely fastened within the Vitae box sliding the strap with the adjustment holds inside the elastic band and the watch facing upwards. Finally the Vitae manual should be placed in-between the watch straps. All returns should be sent back to our London location and an email sent to our returns department at returns@vitaelondon.com Once we have logged your return request you will receive an email confirmation and the refund will take place between 10-12 working days after that. If you haven’t received an email within 10 days please contact our customer service team support@vitaelondon.info

Please note we don't offer refunds on sale or discounted items and do not bear the costs of returning the items.

Warranty and repair

What is covered under warranty and what is not?

From date of purchase your watch has a 2 year international guarantee. This covers defects to do with the watch itself such as movement and mechanical parts. If a fault occurs within this time please contact the Vitae London customer service team support@vitaelondon.info stating your name, address, order number and a description of the fault.

Any other issues will be charged for replacement/repair even within the warranty period. These other issues include *Damage caused by carelessness (knocks, dents, broken/cracked face), *battery replacements, *water penetration beyond 5ATM, *tarnishing for wear and tear of the strap or tarnishing of the case. If you are unsure about whether you are covered or not contact our customer service and we will be able to let you know.

Can I have my watch repaired by any watch store?

We recommend that you get your watch seen by a reputable watch specialist who can assess the damage and let you know if the issue is something that is generally covered under warrantee, if there are any doubts please contact us.
